Hush was a project created for Design 243 - Design and Assistive Technologies. The assignment brief required us as a team to research and develop an assistive technology. Hush Headphones are selective noise-cancelling earbuds that can be programmed to nullify specific sounds and frequencies using destructive interference to reduce the risk of audiological triggers for people with PTSD. Within this project, I developed the Hush concept and researched PTSD and physics concepts to ensure our project was feasible and show how it would function. I also created the logos for our promotional work.
